Summer Art Class for Kids

Summer Semester (June 2- July 31st, 9 classes)


Students will be learning sketching/shading and color layering, blending and wash while working with oil pastels, watercolor and acrylic paints. We will be creating several still life and landscape pieces.


Perfect for young artists of all skill levels, this class runs throughout June and July and provides a supportive, inspiring environment to make art and new friends.

We are so excited for another season of summer camp fun!! Get ready for a summer filled with imagination, creativity, and tons of laughter. We cant wait to see our little artists bonding together over art projects. Its our favorite season!! Camps are filled with fun craft and painting activities where kids learn while having fun. NISD campuses 2025 After school art classes 

Art classes for kids ages 5 & up, 3-4 pm @ your child’s campus!  Kids will learn working with acrylic/watercolor/oil pastels. We will be creating several fun pieces that the kids will enjoy and learn with! Kids don’t have to be part of Alphabest to enroll in this program. Student dismissal at front of school at 4 pm!


Classes begin on January 27, 2025!

Students will work with oil pastel, watercolor & acrylic to learn techniques & skills in all mediums. We will learn sketching and shading along with painting. We create a new piece every week. All supplies included!

    Our art school classes are on rolling admission, so you can call or email at any time to enroll your child.

  • What time is camp?

    Camps are from 9 am - 12 pm, 12 pm - 3 pm, or 1 - 4 pm depending on the camp.

  • How much are birthday parties?

    That depends on the size of your party and the day (weekdays or weekends). Call or email to get a detailed pricing list.

  • Can I take a tour before booking an event?

    We’d love to have you come by our art school to see the studio. Please call or email to make an appointment.

  • Are there trial classes for children?

    Absolutely! Call or email to schedule your art school free trial class.

  • Do you teach kids over 9 years of age?

    Absolutely not. In fact, we just started a new art school class called “Modern Artists”, which is for older kids, aged 7-10. And many of our specialty classes and workshops are appropriate for older kids.

  • Are birthday parties age and gender appropriate?

    We customize your birthday celebration to suit the needs of your age group, whether your little one is turning 2 or 12, we are sure they will have a fabulous time. Boys love art as much as girls do (think Picasso, Monet, Van Gogh…).
