ART Z is an art studio catering to kids and adults aged 5 and up. Hi, I'm Neelu Kharbanda, the owner and art instructor at ART Z.  Art is my passion, and I firmly believe it can enrich our thinking and overall well-being. Beyond enhancing motor skills, relaxation, and creativity, art fosters problem-solving abilities. There are no predefined rules to being an artist; you create your own style and make it your own, which is what makes your artwork truly special. Art is suppose to let you express, let you be free, let you be creative, you can say your own poetry in images. Art is a way of life, art is not only paint and brush, its all the beauty you see all around you. Art teaches you way more than drawing or painting, it teaches you to see the beauty in little things and admire and create that beauty around you.


I have lived in Trophy Club for over 12 years, I adore this community and its surrounding areas. I raised my kids in this lovely community and it brings me immense joy to have the opportunity to open my studio in the neighborhood.


My first art teacher was my mom, an excellent oil painter whose work I greatly admired. I always aspired to paint like her. I pursued my art certification at Kalakendra in Dehradun, India, while also completing a bachelor's degree in economics. In 2012, I fulfilled my dream by opening my own studio, ART Z. This venture provides me with the perfect balance between my love for kids and my passion for art, making me incredibly content. I find great joy in sharing my knowledge with young artists and witnessing their skills flourish as they grow. We have had students who have been with us for years and then work at the studio as assistant teachers and party leaders. Love seeing these kids flourish in their/our Happy Place!!

  • When is the next enrollment time?

    Our art school classes are on rolling admission, so you can call or email at any time to enroll your child.

  • What time is camp?

    Camps are from 9 am - 12 pm, 12 pm - 3 pm, or 1 - 4 pm depending on the camp.

  • How much are birthday parties?

    That depends on the size of your party and the day (weekdays or weekends). Call or email to get a detailed pricing list.

  • Can I take a tour before booking an event?

    We’d love to have you come by our art school to see the studio. Please call or email to make an appointment.

  • Are there trial classes for children?

    Absolutely! Call or email to schedule your art school free trial class.

  • Do you teach kids over 9 years of age?

    Absolutely not. In fact, we just started a new art school class called “Modern Artists”, which is for older kids, aged 7-10. And many of our specialty classes and workshops are appropriate for older kids.

  • Are birthday parties age and gender appropriate?

    We customize your birthday celebration to suit the needs of your age group, whether your little one is turning 2 or 12, we are sure they will have a fabulous time. Boys love art as much as girls do (think Picasso, Monet, Van Gogh…).
